Calgary Stampede's Music Lineup
Calgary Stampede is very quickly approaching us, with just over a week until the tourists' flood in, some bars will be opening earlier with a special law in place allowing them to serve alcohol as early as 8 a.m. Many begin to dig out their cowboy and cowgirl wear and perhaps your chubby jeans in preparation for a tad bit of over drinking and eating, on and off the grounds. If you are anything like me when it comes to knowing which great artists are in town, Calgary Stampede always seems to sneak up on me and I last minute hear an of an artist in town I truly wanted to see or I have disappointedly just missed them. So to try and help you avoid that this year here is a lineup and schedule of music put on by Calgary Stampede for 2018. Besides the great entertainment offered by the official Stampede, there are many performances by local and international artists going on around town, so do not forget to check out what some of your favorite venues may be offering. Cowboys Tent , Wildhorse Salon and Ranchmans are just a few venues to make sure you check out, bringing in a number of bands, musicians, and DJ's.

The Calgary Stampede Talent Search will be heldFriday July 6th -Saturday July 14th(finals).Youth 6-21 will preform in music, dance and talent acts for a chance to win over $20 000 in cash and prizes.
